Moraira is in Costa Blanca North along with other popular holiday towns Calpe, Javea, Denia etc..

This area, situated midway between the main cities of Valencia in the north and Alicante in the south is generally seen as the centre of this coastal area, motorway linked to the capital Madrid to the west and by ferry to the Balearic Islands to the east.

You will find it's climate (voted by the world health organisation as one of the finest in Europe) together with the charm of it's people, a perfect combination in which to spend your well earned retirement or leisure time.

Average temperatures range from 18°C in the winter months through to 25°C in the summer and combined with its relatively dry climate makes ideal conditions for healthier living.

The town of Moraira offers tranquillity and calm, with its beautiful marina at the heart of the town. It is an excellent area for water sports such as diving, windsurfing and sea fishing. Due to the position of the mountains surrounding the town, it creates a microclimate that almost guarantees an average temperature of 18c. In July the fiesta of the Virgen del Carmen takes place and has an amazing firework display from the sea and should not be missed.

A genuine paradise among stretches of greenery along the Costa Blanca. Teulada-Moraira is a top-class tourist resort with excellent facilities and services. It has eight kilometres of coastline and three magnificent beaches of fine sand alternating with small, pretty, rocky coves. Enjoy over 80 restaurants with an infinite gastronomic choice, village fiestas and outing to buy handcraft products in small shops and a street market.

Just around the coast to the north and only 20 minutes drive away is Javea, one of Europe’s most attractive resorts with a rare mixture of beauty, tranquillity and excellent amenities for both holiday and residential requirements. It has been likened to “an island on the mainland of Spain”, with a culture and lifestyle of its own. The old town is pleasantly developed without the high-rise hotels that dominate many resorts and the port is still a thriving fishing harbour. Further around the bay stretches Javea’s spacious, safe and clean sandy beach of L'Arenal with many high standard shops, café bars, restaurants and sports.

This picturesque district is famous for wine, oranges, lemons and pottery.

More importantly for the relaxed and healthy lifestyle and the very best the Mediterranean has to offer for both life and leisure.
